Craft Beer from the magnificent Cape Brewing Company CBC

While many beer lovers travel abroad during Oktoberfest to taste some of the world’s best craft brews, SA locals can usher in the annual beer tradition on their doorstep with internationally acclaimed beers from Cape Brewing Company (CBC).

On Saturday 15 October and Sunday 16 October, the globally acclaimed craft beer producer will be adding exciting promotions to their weekend line-up of brewery tours and tastings at Spice RouteDestination, Paarl. Guests will also have a chance to meet CBC brewmaster, Wolfgang Koedel.

After having claimed the most golds of all participating breweries at the SA National Beer Trophy (SANBT) awards in September, CBC recently took its winning stride across boarders to receive six more awards from the annual World Beer Awards (WBA), held in the UK.

Exclusive CBC offerings at the brewery and on restaurant menus at the Spice Route Destination are on the cards this weekend only. Feel like taking a souvenir home? Weekend visitors to CBC will receive two 300ml Weiss glasses free with every 12 bottle case purchased. The newly released Lager six packs will be available at R90 each (four six packs go for R300).

On-tap tastings from R30 per tasting will be offered at the brewery on Saturday and Sunday from 10h00 to 17h00 (last tasting at 16h30) while brewery tours will take place from 11h00 to 16h00. Bookings are essential for groups of 10 or more and can be made at (021) 863 2270.
