Caffe Blu has been known and popular in Hermanus for a couple of years. New owner Ilze-Marie took it over during the autumn of 2018 and is filling it with new ideas, love and passion. When an owner gets visibly excited about a new menu, so does everyone! She is also dedicated to offer the best Coffee & Espresso in Hermanus and serve all day breakfasts, light meals & snacks made fresh on the premises daily. Their coffee is Blend No.222 from Arabikaz Coffee Roasters, an outstanding micro-roastery right here in Hermanus.

Caffe Blu is set on the seaside of the Checkers centre in Hermanus and offers inside and outside seating with beautiful views over the crown of Hermanus, Hoy’s Koppie and the surrounding beauty of the center of Hermanus. The inside is comfortable and almost rustic with an open ceiling with wooden beams reminding us of the fact that this would have been the Station Cafeteria. As you might be aware, Hermanus has a Station but it has never seen a train. The tracks were never laid.
Daily fresh bread is baked on the premises and only the highest quality of coffee and food is sourced, prepared and served at Caffe Blu.
Children get spoiled with Old School Milkshake R 18 after 2pm.
