Inspired action matters!
Zakie Odendaal (23 year old #Cover-Girl:) completed her 10 month solo hike-adventure on 10 June 2017 when she reached the South Africa / Mozambique border. She started her inspired journey with just her backpack and no funding or sponsors in September 2016. Zakie hiked from the South African / Namibian border, all along the South African coastline. Her next adventure is to do a 7 day hike through Swaziland with only R70.

Freedom of Panorama (FoP) enables you and Wikipedia to use photographs of public spaces, art and buildings in countries around the world without restriction. Whilst ensuring the artist or architect still benefits from copyright rights.
South Africa does not have Freedom of Panorama.
Its most important culture and history is missing on Wikipedia. Sharing such photos on social media isn’t allowed. Freedom of Panorama will fix that. Parliament is reviewing South African copyright law right now. If you think South Africa should have Freedom of Panorama? Take Action Please.

Run the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon in aid of the Children’s Hospital Trust and give a child the chance to grow up.
By partaking in London’s most beautiful half, you’ll be supporting the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town – Africa’s first specialist pediatric hospital.
Since 2012, runners have contributed to ensuring that 250 000 children treated at the Hospital every year have access to world-class healthcare. From South Africa and beyond, most are from impoverished communities and one-third are younger than one year old.
